What is a WaveScan or visual fingerprint?

A WaveScan is a visual fingerprint of the eye. Quick and painless, a WaveScan maps out the terrain of your eye, and measures the imperfections on the cornea. A WaveScan is one of the first diagnostic tools doctors use to determine a patient's eligibility for LASIK surgery.

Our Awards and Recognitions

QUALITY VS. QUANTITY

At UT Southwestern Laser Center for Vision care, what you see is what you get. Beware of "deals" or "as low as" advertised prices offered by other surgeons. These ads are frequently used to attract patients and then add-ons inflate the final price. A surgeon's practice should always be professionally driven, not profit-driven. At UT Southwestern, we are upfront about all of our customized vision correction surgeries. When we provide you a price, it includes all of your eyecare for all stages of the preparation, surgery and aftercare.
